I love food. And I love music. So why not combine those two loves here? I can't promise that's all I'll post about but I'll do my best to keep it relatively relevant. A few of my other loves: the beach, yoga, fonts, design, unique cards, the lost art of giftwrapping, letterpress, reclaimed wood objects, the south, the west coast, hipstamatic and instagram photos, tasty wine, books (especially memoirs), good television and squirrels.

“WEIGHTS AND MEASURES”
I’m really digging this relatively young British folk band, Dry the River. Their new album, Shallow Bed, came out earlier this week and I’ve been listening to it on Spotify. I found out about them when a music blog I was reading said they were one of the bands to catch at SXSW (not that I was at SXSW, but I wanted to listen to some up-and-coming bands). It’s right up my neo-hippie-hipster-folk-with-an-edge-cute-bearded-dirty-tattoo band alley. Take a listen.
